Built on the heritage of a decade of experience in Process Optimisation (Joint Care®) for primary hip and knee replacements, the Rapid Recovery® program was developed as the next level in optimising the care of the orthopaedic patient.
In addition to process and medical improvements, the program also allows for registration of clinical outcomes and the tools to actively market the hospital.
Biomet’s Rapid Recovery program consists of 6 main elements:

• Optimising Surgical Procedure –Anatomical specimen courses on less traumatic approaches in collaboration with the Medical University of Vienna and the University of Oxford
