Müller Stem

The Müller stem is a cemented hip prosthesis with a fine blasted surface made out of WHN Stainless Steel Double anchorage by press-fit of the largest possible stem in the medullary canal and by additional fixation using bone cement. Based on the good results experienced with straight stem prostheses (since 1977).

Sizes : from 7,5 to 17,5 mm standard and lateralized

Taper : 12/14 – 5°42

CoCr and stainless steel heads diam 22,2 / 28 / 32 mm

Alumina heads diam. 28 and 32 mm

Identical wedge shape of 6 degrees

The medial edge of the stem in relation to the center of rotation is identical for all sizes

The shallow grooves along the stem provide additional anchorage against rotational forces while still allowing for easy extraction
